If you get your domain through us at magnt, it’ll automatically work without any configuration on your part. However, if you already own the domain that you want your magnt site to sit on, there are a few settings that you’ll need to adjust with whoever you bought the domain through. But fear not. We made a page just to help walk you through the process. Or send us a note at support@magnt.net and we will be happy to help.

To make magnt as versatile and flexible as possible, we’ve integrated with third-party sites that focus on their area of expertise (photos, videos, file sharing, etc). Rather than re-create an application that already exists, we designed magnt to serve as a hub for all of your web content. You simply engage with any of the hundreds of social/media/file-sharing sites available and add these links to your magnt page. If the site manager detects an RSS feed on any of these links, the latest content will automatically be displayed on your magnt site without any additional work on your part! How easy is that? This keeps your magnt site continuously updated and fresh.

Pro accounts include the option of reserving a single domain name of your choice, provided that the domain name you requested is available for purchase when our system attempts to acquire it (typically within one hour).

If you elect to upgrade your account to the paid Pro subscription your credit card will be charged immediately for the first month (or year’s worth of Service based on the billing period you select); Your credit card will be charged each renewal period until you downgrade to a Basic account or cancel your service entirely by accessing our Account Administration Panel.

Yes. Domains registered by magnt as a part of Pro accounts remain the property of magnt until you request in writing that the domain be transferred to a registrar of your choosing. You will need to pay any pro-rated domain registration fees of $1.25 per month of unpaid Pro service for the current 12 month domain registration period. For example, if you have paid for 4 months of Pro service and would like to transfer your domain to another registrar, you will be required to pay $10.00 ($1.25 x 8 months remaining in the domain’s registration period.

No, we do not provide refunds but we do offer a free Basic account for life.
